Max Mara Debuts Fragrance Inspired by Signature Cashmere Coat

Musky woods, tuberose, vanilla and benzoin find harmony in a highly textured olfactory signature, per the brand.

Florence Pugh stars in the fragrance's new campaign.

For fashion designer Max Mara, clothing offers a language inclusive of a style and a signature attitude.

Seventy-five years after its establishment, Max Mara has debuted a fine fragrance inspired by its signature cashmere coat.

Just like the embrace of a comfy coat, a Max Mara perfume makes the invisible visible and reveals the quiet strength within, per marketers. Further, it enables women to take control of their lives, freeing them from the need for external validation and giving them assurance, authenticity and presence, according to the brand.

Gentle Opulence

Building around an abundance of musky woods — sandalwood and cedarwood — the duo of perfumers chose to unveil a creamy facet of tuberose, wrapping the scent in a velvety balm that reveals a “discreet, gentle opulence,” per the brand. In its trail, the warmth of vanilla and the depth of benzoin find harmony in a highly textured olfactory signature.

Max Mara Le Parfum is certified vegan. Comprising 90% natural-origin ingredients, it features natural cedarwood and Australian sandalwood essences, a duo of natural tuberoses — from Grasse and Guatemala — enhanced by benzoin extract and natural lemon primofiore essence made in Italy.

Le Parfum bottle is available in refillable 50 ml, 100 ml and 150 ml formats.
